Hi and welcome on my portfolio!
Let me introduce myself. I’m Jonathan Lessard. I’ve been in the game industry for about four years during which I worked on many different games. I shipped many triple A games, but I also created a lot of content for games with a smaller budget.
Creativity and innovation are innate for me. Thinking about new things, new systems or original ideas, is easy for me. However, the more I’m working in this industry, the more technical I get! I learned scripting, visual-scripting, how to understand and work in multiple engines and how most things work together. I always want to get better, to gain more tools either inventive or technical.
Aside design; I’m also a heavy metal singer (listen here : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1fmL7UxHhHIb1eR-SEUi-w), a writer, and a gym-rat. I have many hobbies that let me express myself and that help me to develop new skills and learn new things. I force myself to try something new every week. I try, as often as possible, to get out of my comfort zone and to discover novelties as simple as a new comic book or as original as eating insects. The rest of the time, I’m the kind of guy who tries to optimize his schedule and to get the most of his time. Time is a finite amount and I want to do as much as possible with it!
In the following pages, you’ll find more about me and about my work, but you can always check up my LinkedIn profile (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonathanlecuyerlessard/en) or directly send me an e-mail! I hope you’ll enjoy your stay!
